If I use Magic Eraser to clean walls before painting will it effect how the paint goes on afterward?
I am planning to paint the walls in a duplex I am renting and the walls have crayon marks on them. I was wondering if I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser product to remove them and paint over that will the Magic Eraser leave a residue or anything that will effect the application or adherence of the paint?
Absolutely not. I use this product and some times it is the only thing that works, especially on crayon. The only thing you really want to worry about is making sure all the crayon is off. Magic erasers work almost like a sandpaper, sometimes taking paint off too, so be careful you do not take too much paint off . There is no chemial residual.
